Every year there is the California Peace Officers' Memorial Service held in Sacramento. Since Jake has been a deputy sheriff he has gone. In June the Porac Law Enforcement News publishes pictures and some of the messages from the service. Each year Jake looks to see if he made it in the magazine. This year he did.
