Happy Halloween

On Halloween we decided to stay home rather than go out. We invited my father, Poppop, over for pumpkin carving, dinner, and games. Jackson & Mommy carved his pumpkin, while Daddy carved his own, and Poppop carved Jillian's pumpkin. I also carved my own. It was fun to do this all together. Jillian sat in her swing and watched while we all got gooey and covered in pumpkin guts. Afterwards, we ate homemade tortellini soup and played Scene It Disney. Jacob & Poppop were one team (team Nemo) and Jackson & Mommy were team Lightning. We were all surprised that Jake & Poppop won the game. (I almost always blow the competition out of the water). While we played the game we ate our Halloween candy and Jackson handed out candy to the Trick or Treaters. He LOVED handing out the candy to the kids. He was to give a handful to the little kids and two pieces to the older (bigger) kids. And he did just that. I was concerned that he was going to be upset that he was not out there collecting candy but he was happy about staying home. Overall we had a wonderful Halloween.

She's sticking out her tongue at you :)

These next images are of our front yard. Jackson had LOADS of fun setting up the yard. It cracked me up because he was making friends with all the "scary" guys. He would tell me that he's talking to his friends.

This is from the other side of the street. At night everything lite up either by a black light or the lights inside of them. It was fun to see it at night, unfortunately the pictures didn't turn out.
