I wanted to celebrate my 30th birthday at Disneyland. I thought it was only fitting since I celebrated my 21st birthday at Disneyland with friends. So this year my parents (Nana & Poppop Hayes), Craig, Shonda, Renae, Naomi, and our family celebrated together. While we were there other friends were playing at Disneyland and we were able to play and celebrate with them too.
It was still Christmas time at Disneyland which was good and not so good. It was good because we were able to enjoy the decorations and special parades. But it was not so good because there were TONS of people. It was as though it was summer time :(
We had a most wonderful time playing, riding rides, being silly with family and friends, eating with characters, and most of all celebrating my 30th in very special ways.
The coolest thing was that my entire family agreed to wear special shirts that stated "It's all about the birthday girl (My Wife/Mother/Sister/Auntie/Daughter)" and had a Mickey head cut out saying Happy Birthday and a 30th in the center (see the pictures below). The girls had a rhinestone bow like Minnie Mouse. My shirt stated "It's all about Me". It was fun because people would ask who was the birthday girl or they'd laugh. It was fun to have all the attention on my special day.
